Protecting Women in the Workplace from the Hazards of Ill-Fitted Safety Apparel

The unconscious bias that is present in many workplaces today assumes that having women wear men's clothing for protection on the job is adequate.  The underlying issues created by PPE that is not fit correctly holds the potential to create hazards that are preventable.  

On August 18 2022 at Kent State University - Trumbull campus, we will be hosting an open forum discussion to address the changes that can be made within organizations so that women are equally protected on the job as the men.
